Fall 2014 Conference
We are pleased to announce that SUNYRA and The SICAS Center will be joining forces this Fall and holding our conferences back to back! This will be the 40th anniversary of SUNYRA, and we will be heading back to the wonderful Crowne Plaza hotel in beautiful Lake Placid.
SUNYRA will be held October 7th, 8th, and 9th, the SICAS Summit will pick up October 9th in the afternoon, and go through October 10th.
Hotel Information
The Crowne Plaza has reserved rooms for SUNYRA attendees to stay straight through the SICAS Summit conference at the state per diem rate. Hotel reservations for the Crowne Plaza can be made online at the Crowne Plaza site using the passkey link provided by the hotel below. Rooms are available at a rate of $113.00. The hotel reservation deadline for the special rate is September 6th. If you need to stay for SICAS Summit, you will need to reserve by calling 1-800-874-1980.
Conference Pricing
Special discount pricing has been established for SUNYRA members who are attending both the SUNYRA and SICAS conferences. There is a conference registration deadline of September 19.

We regret that we cannot accept walk-in registrations or partial attendance/partial payment registrations for the conference.
Due to hotel and conference deadlines, refunds for the SUNYRA conference cannot be provided after September 30, 2014.

Keynote Speaker
SUNYRA is pleased to have Dr. J.W. Wiley as our keynote speaker for the Fall 2014 conference. Dr. Wiley currently has a joint appointment as the Director for the Center for Diversity, Pluralism, and Inclusion at State University of New York Plattsburgh and a Lecturer in Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies. Dr. Wiley lectures, and keynotes at many colleges and universities. He has tremendous success with his interactive presentation titled Diversity Enlightenment, and is enjoying success as a consultant with his company, Xamining Diversity. (Read The Complete Bio)
